Emissions reduction

Every liter of fuel saved by each vehicle reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 2.7 kg every gallon saved reduces carbon by 10 kg. Each 100 gallons of fuel saved results in one less metric ton of CO2 emitted, as well as significant reductions in other pollutants such as nitrous oxide.

At G4 Apps we focus on cost savings and operational improvements in concert with improving sustainability. Where possible, for each of our smart device functions we calculate the fuel savings and emissions reductions achieved in real time and provide fleet managers with trip, vehicle and fleet level reports for use in improving their performance, and in reporting as part of formal sustainability programs.
